“Free parking and room to park - very unusual for Sintra! (There is also a bus stop right outside.) We didn’t have a guided tour but just explored the gardens and palace ourselves. The palace is beautiful and has informative signs and a really good film in one of the bedrooms. It is much quieter than the other palaces and really worth a visit. The cafe looked nice but we didn’t stop there. Toilets impeccable!”
