The azulejo is Lisbon’s signature surface, and in a workshop you draw, glaze and fire your own. These 4 sessions are priced and timed, with which pair the studio with the National Tile Museum.
Visit Lisbon’s National Tile Museum in the Madre Deus convent, tracing Portuguese azulejos from the 15th century to today, inside stunning church spaces.
“What a beautiful layout of the variety of scenes depicted! The use of the convent was charming and sacred at the same time. We didn’t get the audio, but it would have been better for information as most of the tile pieces do not have any details. We are art lovers!”
Design Lisbon azulejos with the Formettes method and leave the same day with a heat-pressed 10cm tile.
